MUZA is an art museum located at the historic Auberge d’Italie building in Valletta, Malta. The museum was formerly known as the National Museum of Fine Arts and was previously housed at the Admiralty House in Valletta from 1974 to 20165.The MUZA venue at the Auberge d’Italie features several distinct event spaces and dining areas:




The Camerone was the Italian Knights’ principal refectory or dining hall, a multipurpose space suitable for lectures, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, parties, receptions, lunches, and dinners.

The large courtyard in the center of the Auberge offered visiting guests a stunning first impression and a private outdoor setting, centered around a well emphasized by a triumphal arch topped by a statue and coat of arms.

Community Space


The Community Space, part of the Auberge d’Italie’s first construction phase, featured a remarkable marble inscription commemorating Fra Gregorio Carafa’s victory, and was suitable for press conferences, book readings, presentations, and exhibits.
